May 2010 – I have re-written my ballad 'One Road'

November 2009 – I have signed a publishing deal with World Domination Music for 23 instrumental pieces. The collection called “Retrospective” will be plugged for TV and Film opportunities

October 2009 – I have signed a publishing deal with NorthStar Music Publishing Ltd for 2 instrumental pieces

September 2009 – My Indie Pop-Rock production pieces have been released by Sonoton Music GmbH & Co (Germany) as “ROCK AND POP - The 80s to Present (SCD 802) - Modern Indie and Classic Rock and Pop Styles inspired by the charts”.

August 2009 – I have written a new Motown-esque song, “Let It Happen”, that has been pitched for a cue in a film

August 2009 – I have signed a publishing deal with Sonoton Music GmbH & Co (Germany) for my Indie Pop-Rock production pieces. The CD entitled “SCD 802 - Current Rock & Pop” will be pressed and released shortly and is expected to be exploited extensively in the US

August 2009 – I am completing my next collection of nine Pop-Rock pieces, which features a range of styles from Avril Lavigne to Oasis and Beck

August 2009 – I have written my first composition specifically to picture - see “Cosmetic TV Advert”. The client wanted a vibey backing track for a TV advert and I used Logic Pro 8 to play/sync the video while I composed the music

July 2009 – I have enrolled on a course to learn how to write music to picture. This should consolidate my experience in this area and allow me to offer a more professional service when composing for TV shows, documentaries and films

June 2009 - Signed a publishing deal with de Wolfe for seven pieces of TV music for shows such as FlogIt and Cash In The Attic – see DWCD TBD “TV Grooves”

June 2009 – Pitched two arrangements (Auld Lang Syne and Silent Night) and an original song (Be With Me New Years Eve) for two films

June 2009 – Pitched two production music pieces for a new cable TV cookery program

April 2009 - Commissioned by de Wolfe to write TV Groove pieces for shows such as BBC’s 'FlogIt!'

March 2009 - Signed a publishing deal with de Wolfe for four Children’s TV tracks - see DWCD 0471 'Smile'

February 2009 - Signed a publishing deal with World Domination Music for 'USA Rollercoaster' - a collection of thirteen film music themes. The deal also includes sub-publishing the tracks with Pigfactory in LA who have been very successful at placing music within Hollywood films notably four tracks recently in 'The Wrestler'

January 2009 - Commissioned by de Wolfe to write some more children's TV themes

2008

November 2008 - Wrote some children's TV production music

September 2008 - Started creating a collection of Pop/Rock production music

July 2008 - Wrote three ballads - "One Road", "Together Again" and "Even If"

June 2008 - In the process of signing a publishing deal for "You Don't Love Me" with Woodrich Publishing in the US - they have already published "Bring Me Back Home". Both tracks have been re-mixed and are available to play on this site under Country songs

May 2008 - My DeWolfe Production music piece "Positive Life" is being used on a TV advertisement for Panasonic's new SD9 HD Camcorder and is available on their website

May 2008 - I went to London Calling 2008 and made some good contacts for the future

March/April 2008 - Re-mixed and amended my catalogue of published songs to make them sound much more contemporary, adding real saxes where appropriate

February 2008 - Got a private commission to write a spiritual/gospel song "Shout"

January 2008 - Got a commission from Red Bee Media to write the results music for the African Cup Of Nations 2008 for BBC World – my first BBC commission!!

2007

December 2007 - I created a new Marketing database and started opening up communications with a number of independent publishers whilst also working with a new blues band – The Handsome Boys - as a bass player – doing our first gig at RAF Odiham

November 2007 - I successfully passed my Music Technology course and spent the rest of the month consolidating my music degree and general academic work with personal study in Composition and Production

October 2007 - This month, through Songlink, I have gained artist interest for "I'd Be So Good 4 U" and "I Gotta Get To Know You Better" - watch this space!

October 2007 - I am working with a pop/dance band Tru Calling on a new version of "Hold Me Tonight" called "Energy No More" that I am co-writing with them

October 2007 - Signed a publishing deal for "I'd Be Soo Good 4 U" with PeggyLea Publishing in the US - they hope to promote the song to majors in the US

Sep 2007 - Signed a publishing deal for "I've Gotta Get To Know You Better" with Leopard Music

Aug 2007 - I have just started working with a new girl singer - Dani Lemer - who has done a great new version of "I've Gotta Get To Know You Better"

August 2007 - I have finished a new song for female voice - "Hold Me Tonight" (Pop/Dance) - featuring Gigi Anderssen

August 2007 - I have finished two new songs for male voice or boy band - "I'd Be Soo Good 4 U" (Edgy Pop) and "I've Got To Get To Know You Better" (R&B/Pop). I did music and lyrics on these

July 2007 - "Hitting Headlines" (DeWolfe) is being used as the theme tune for News Knight with Sir Trevor McDonald on Sunday at 10pm, ITV 1

July 2007 - I have been working with some new singers creating some more Urban R&B for male voices - watch this space!

June 2007 - Leopard report that a USA artist - April Mestiya - is planning to use "You're Gonna Love..." on her album in order to look for a recording contract

May 2007 - Leopard Music reporting interest in "You're Gonna Love...." and "Hot n Sexy"

April 2007 - Signed a publishing deal for "You're Gonna Love What I've Got For You" with Leopard Music. Lyrics written with Nick Faber

March 2007 - Finished Production on "You're Gonna Love What I've Got For You" - used Melanie Clark on vocals

February 2007 - Finished writing "You're Gonna Love What I've Got For You" - a smooth R&B Ballad
Also started working with Tim Garner on a "live" collaboration involving sax and acoustic guitar

January 2007 - Worked with Soverin on the final version of "Hold My Hand" - this will be marketed by Crash Records as a charity record to help support the John Radcliffe in my home town of Oxford

2006

December 2006 - Completed an Open University Degree in Music. I now plan to do some Music Technology courses to round off my understanding. At some stage I hope to be able to find the time and energy to engage in further academic study through my particular interest in linking music composition, music technology and the psychological responses of the listener

November 2006 - Produced another track with Soverin called "Hold My Hand" - this one will be marketed as a charity record

October 2006 - Got a sweet PRS statement today. "Hitting Headlines" (DeWolfe) has been used for another three years on a Polish broadcast

September 2006 - Have made a non-exclusive agreement with Bob Dellaposta of "My 3 Kids Music" (Nashville, TN) for Bob to plug and promote some of my tracks in the US. Initially this will be two tracks -'Shine' and 'Samura'

September 2006 - Upgraded my Mac Quad G5 to a new Mac Pro (4x3GHz) and a 30" Apple Cinema Display

August 2006 - Today I signed a publishing deal (single song assignment) for 'Bring Me Back Home' with a US based country publisher - Woodrich Publishing

July 2006 - Leopard Music report another artist interested and things getting busy!!

June 2006 - Rachael Roberts recorded my version of "Sigh No More Ladies" from Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing

May 2006 - Finished producing "It's True" for a young rock band called Soverin. Average age of the boys is 14 and they are brilliant - check their site for more information

April 2006 - Got my largest ever PRS pay out today!!! One of my DeWolfe tracks "Hitting Headlines" has been used for a whole year on a Polish broadcast!!

December 2005 - Upgraded all my gear from Protools to running Logic 7 native on a Mac Quad G5. Also picked up a Channel One valve pre-amp which sounds superb!!
